Account and settings
Your details, your delivery address, how you sign in, and your computer's address.
Open Settings from the gear on your account page. It holds the things your account knows about you, and the few that are fixed once your computer exists.
- You. Your name, organisation and phone number. The organisation is what your computer's address is built from, so once the computer exists it is fixed; ask us if it needs to change.
- Delivery address. Where hardware you buy is sent. It is filled in from your first order if you have not set it, and checkout starts from it.
- Signing in. There is no password on your account. We email you a fresh code each time you sign in. Your computer has its own, separate password, which you choose and we never see.
- Your computer's address. The name your computer answers at, such as
yourcompany.activated.cloud.
The apps
The Apps card on your account page is where the desktop apps for Mac and Windows and the phone apps for iOS and Android appear. The desktop app is your computer in a window; the phone app is for approving things and checking in while you are out. They are marked Coming soon until they are published, and the Download button appears on the card as soon as each one is ready.
